Gentle Foot Care has served Huntsville, Alabama since 1997 under Dr. Van Nguyen, a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with more than 25 years of experience treating patients of all ages. The practice, whose name was suggested by a longtime patient, combines modern technology with a hands-on, one-on-one approach, offering digital X-ray, C-arm radiology, ultrasound, and other in-office diagnostic tools. Dr. Nguyen treats ingrown toenails, plantar warts, athlete's foot, gout, tendonitis, heel pain and plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, ankle sprains and fractures, and foreign bodies in the foot, along with wound care, ulcerations, and sports injuries. Diabetic patients receive thorough foot examinations aimed at preventing ulcerations and amputations, and custom molded orthotics are available for a range of activities and age groups. The office accepts Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and several major private insurers.
