Dr. Johnnie Alston received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He continued his education at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System residency program, focusing on podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery. He joined the wound care team at the Institute for Advanced Wound Care at Baptist Hospital South in 2008, and has worked with Montgomery Foot Care Specialists since 2017, transitioning to full time in 2021.
