Ruben Nieto, DPM, has served the Bakersfield, California community for several years through Kern Podiatry, treating patients of all ages for a wide variety of foot and ankle needs. Dr. Nieto holds board certification from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, with additional certifications in total ankle replacement and arthroscopy. He has worked at multiple hospitals throughout Kern County and served as medical director of a wound center, and the practice describes his experience as including more than a thousand surgeries and extensive wound healing and limb-saving work. Kern Podiatry treats ankle sprains, arthritis, deformities, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, heel and foot pain, flatfoot, bunions, hammertoe, warts, and calluses, offering both conservative management and surgical treatment options.
