She earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, followed by a three-year surgical residency at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital in Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year and received comprehensive training in forefoot and reconstructive ankle surgery. Dr. Shahin specializes in foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, wound care, and limb salvage, and is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the California Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
