VitaStep Podiatry & Wound Care Institute brings together three board-certified podiatrists, Nirav Patel, DPM, Doan-Trinh Pham, DPM, and Tressa Jordan, DPM, to serve Escondido, San Marcos, and the wider North County San Diego area. The team treats plantar fasciitis and heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, toenail fungus, flat feet, and arthritis, along with pediatric foot concerns and sports-related injuries. Diabetic wound care is a particular focus, with advanced debridement, skin substitutes, and infection-control protocols used to support limb preservation. Additional services include custom orthotics built from a biomechanical assessment, minimally invasive surgery, and laser therapy for persistent fungal nails and plantar warts. VitaStep accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare, and follows standards set by the American Podiatric Medical Association in its approach to routine and complex foot and ankle care.
