Trivalley Highline Foot and Ankle Specialists, led by Dr. Huaitao "Tom" Zhang, DPM, provides foot and ankle surgical care from its Livermore, California office. Dr. Zhang completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, earned his podiatric medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and trained in a high-volume trauma and reconstructive residency at Kaiser Santa Clara Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and offers Bunionplasty, a minimally invasive, no-fusion approach to bunion correction that allows patients to walk starting the day of surgery. The practice also manages foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction for severe deformities and arthritis, and wound care and limb salvage for diabetic and other chronic wounds, including mobile wound care visits. Remy Class IV laser therapy addresses toenail fungus, pain, and inflammation. Same- and next-day appointments are available, and Dr. Zhang provides emergency coverage when on call at partner hospitals.
