About Dr. Monara Dini
Monara Dini, DPM serves as a clinical faculty podiatrist in the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, treating patients at the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She has served as Chief of Podiatry within the department since 2011 and is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. Dr. Dini earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2008 and completed a three-year residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. Her clinical focus centers on treating lower extremity wounds in patients at high risk of amputation, forefoot reconstruction, and sports medicine, with trauma work that includes fracture management and ankle fusion. Dr. Dini is a published researcher on limb salvage and talar dome reconstruction, and holds memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
