About Hoffman Arlene F DPM

Arlene F. Hoffman, DPM, PhD has practiced podiatric medicine in San Francisco, California since 1978, specializing in comprehensive care of the foot and ankle. She is widely recognized within her profession, having received the American Podiatric Medical Association's Meritorious Service Award and being named one of America's 150 Most Influential Podiatric Physicians, and she is one of only fifty podiatrists selected by peers to belong to the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Hoffman was a Founding Board Trustee of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, served as a Trustee and Vice President of the American Society of Podiatric Dermatology, and was President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. She has also served for many years as a residency program evaluator for the Council of Podiatric Medical Education, and continues today as Clinical Professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Western University of Health Sciences, lecturing on topics such as blood flow evaluation and wound healing.
