Santa Rosa Foot has served Sonoma County for decades under father-daughter podiatrists Dr. Ralph Hoyal and Dr. Rachel Hoyal. Dr. Ralph Hoyal, a graduate of the California School of Podiatric Medicine, has practiced podiatric surgery in Santa Rosa for more than 35 years with an emphasis on conservative, general podiatric care. Dr. Rachel Hoyal completed a three-year surgical residency at Saint Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco with additional training in limb salvage, trauma, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and diabetic lower extremity pathology. Together they treat Achilles tendon problems, ankle fractures and sprains, arthritic foot and ankle pain, bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis, corns and calluses, fungal and ingrown toenails, neuromas, flat feet, and plantar warts, using minimal-incision techniques and reconstructive surgery as needed. The office also provides geriatric foot care, on-site X-ray facilities, house calls for eligible patients, and same-day appointments when available.
