About Visiting Nurses Foot Clinic

Visiting Nurses Foot Clinic, a program of the Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, brings preventive medical foot care to patients across metro Denver and the Front Range. Registered nurses perform foot exams that check for early signs of health changes, including discoloration, swelling, and skin changes, along with circulation checks, blood pressure monitoring, and screening for neuropathy. Repeat visits let clinicians track patients' health over time and provide referrals to physicians or other support services when needed. Foot care clinics are held more than fifty times each month at over sixty locations throughout the Front Range, including Denver, Brighton, and Boulder, and no physician referral is required to attend. For homebound Kaiser Permanente Medicare members, a Medical Foot Nurse can also provide foot care visits directly in the home, provided the patient has a physician referral. Community organizations can host a foot care clinic at their own location at no cost. The organization traces its roots to 1889.
