Rafael Gonzalez, DPM has led Greater Hartford Podiatry in Bloomfield, Connecticut since 2001, after completing three years of foot and ankle surgery training in New York and Detroit following his podiatric medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez is a board-certified foot surgeon and Diplomate of the American Board of Wound Management, and he directs the Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency Program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford. His practice offers medical and surgical care for bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, Morton's neuroma, and a wide range of foot injuries, along with diabetic foot care including treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gonzalez and his staff aim to provide a friendly, caring office experience for every patient who walks through the door.
