Dr. Marisa DeMatteo-Santa graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Fairfield University in 1999, then graduated cum laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency training at Yale University Hospital, where she trained extensively in elective and reconstructive foot surgery and management of the diabetic foot. Dr. DeMatteo-Santa is board certified with both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, certified in forefoot surgery, and joined Milford Podiatry in June 2020 after practicing in Norwalk, Connecticut for nine years, treating bunions, plantar fasciitis, hammertoes, and tarsal tunnel syndrome.
