About Dr. Chelsea Viola

Dr. Chelsea Viola grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut and graduated from Glastonbury High School before attending the University of Maryland at College Park, where she was awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Undergraduate Research Fellowship and graduated with Honors in Biology in 2010. She then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating at the top of her class, and completed her surgical residency with the Atlantic Health System at Morristown Medical Center, a Trauma 2 center, where she completed over 2,000 surgical procedures including complex reconstructive limb deformity and trauma cases. Dr. Viola later spent two years contributing to lower extremity trauma services in Florida before returning to Connecticut. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, practicing at the Oxford, Connecticut office.
