Family Foot Care & Surgery of Ridgefield is led by Dr. Aparna Chauhan, known to patients as Dr. AC, who brings more than a decade of podiatric practice experience to offices in Ridgefield, New Haven, and Hamden, Connecticut. She earned her podiatric medicine degree from Barry University and completed four years of training in podiatric primary care, orthopedics, and surgery through the VA Health Care System in Boston, a Harvard Medical School teaching affiliate. Dr. Chauhan is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and holds staff privileges at Griffin Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital. The practice addresses bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, neuromas, flat feet, arthritis, gout, ingrown toenails, and fractures, offering custom orthotics for children and adults alike and considering surgery for more advanced or unresolved cases.
