Southington Foot and Ankle, the Southington, Connecticut office of Waterbury Podiatry Consultants, has been part of the Waterbury-area community since 1952. Drs. Steven Massucci and Samuel Kellner, both DPM, FACFAS, and graduates of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, lead the practice with a minimally invasive philosophy that treats surgery as a last resort. They see patients for heel and foot pain, plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, plantar warts, neuromas, sports injuries, and diabetic and high-risk foot complications, and perform elective and urgent surgical procedures including diabetic limb salvage when conservative care isn't enough. The office provides digital on-site X-rays, a 3D orthotic scanner for custom orthotics, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy, and patients are often able to be seen for same-day appointments. Dr. Massucci also chairs the Podiatric section, Department of Surgery, at Waterbury Hospital.
