First State Foot & Ankle, LLC serves patients throughout Wilmington and northern Delaware under the direction of Dr. Joseph Ciampoli, a podiatric surgeon and diabetic foot specialist who has practiced for more than two decades and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. As a small, privately owned practice, First State Foot & Ankle offers individualized attention for patients of all ages, including young children. The team treats bunions, corns and calluses, hammertoes, gout, heel pain and heel spurs, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, tendonitis, flat feet, high arches, and fungal toenails, along with fractures and diabetic neuropathy. Dr. Ciampoli is extensively trained in reconstructive foot surgery and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Anmol Burmi, a Delaware native, joined the practice in 2024, bringing additional expertise in foot and ankle care. The office provides custom orthotics along with a range of foot care products to support patients' everyday comfort.
