Washburn Foot & Ankle Center, founded by Dr. James Washburn in 2014, now serves the St. Petersburg and Bradenton, Florida communities after relocating from its original Little Rock, Arkansas location in 2024, where the practice had been recognized among the top podiatry offices in the area. Dr. Washburn is board certified and trained in trauma and limb salvage through a residency at the University of Florida/Shands Jacksonville, with further surgical training completed in Houston, Texas. The practice treats both adult and pediatric foot disorders, addressing bone conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, and gout; sports-related injuries including plantar fasciitis, stress fractures, and tendinitis; soft tissue issues like sprains, warts, corns, calluses, and fungal skin conditions; and nail problems such as ingrown toenails and fungal infections, along with wound care and custom orthotics. Medicare and most major PPO insurance plans are accepted.
