About Dr. Patrick Donovan

Dr. Patrick Donovan is a podiatric surgeon specializing in ailments of the foot and ankle, and a native of the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with an undergraduate degree in biology, minoring in molecular biology and microbiology, before earning his doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Following graduation, Dr. Donovan completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the University of Florida Health hospital in Jacksonville, the region's only adult and pediatric Level I trauma center, with specialized training in foot and ankle trauma, limb salvage, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, and tendoscopy. He was involved in several research projects during his residency, presenting at both national and local conferences.
