Dr. John Savidakis Jr. has practiced podiatric medicine and surgery in Clearwater, Florida since 1999 through Suncoast Podiatry & Wound Center, following his podiatric medicine degree from Barry University and a three-year residency at the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System through Yale University. He is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in both surgery and primary care, and he devotes a substantial part of his practice to wound care, having previously treated patients at a hospital-based wound healing center in Clearwater. The practice manages ankle sprains, arthritis, bone spurs, bunions, corns and calluses, flat and high-arched feet, fractures, fungal toenails, gout, hammertoes, heel and arch pain, ingrown nails, neuromas, neuropathy, plantar warts, sports injuries, and tendonitis, along with non-healing wounds and ulcers. In-office X-ray, laser treatment for toenail fungus, custom PedAlign orthotics, and diabetic shoes and inserts round out the practice's services.
