About Alan A. MacGill, D.P.M.
Alan MacGill, DPM, FACFAS, CWS, is a native of Florida who grew up in Tampa and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, majoring in premedical studies and minoring in sociology, earning his Bachelor of Science degree with honors. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois, graduating in the top 10th percentile of his class, and matched with a residency at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida. He was selected for the AO DPM Trauma Fellowship, completing it in Spring 2009 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. MacGill is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, is a Certified Wound Specialist, and performs total ankle replacement, practicing with Florida Foot & Ankle in Deerfield Beach.
