David N. Gavin, DPM, FACFAS has practiced podiatry in Fort Myers, Florida since 1986, including two decades caring for residents of the Shell Point Village retirement community. Board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Gavin specializes in diabetic foot management, trauma care, and limb preservation surgery. His solo practice also addresses bunions, ingrown toenails, and athlete's foot, and provides custom orthotics and geriatric foot care for older patients. Dr. Gavin has lectured at Niagara University and at regional and national podiatric medical conferences, including the Midwest Podiatry Conference and the APMA national meeting. Patients throughout the Fort Myers area turn to the practice for both routine podiatric care and more complex surgical needs, including foot and ankle trauma.
