Dr. Joseph Grillo has provided podiatric medicine and surgery to Southwest Florida patients since 1991, twice re-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His Fort Myers practice treats Achilles tendon problems, foot and ankle fractures and sprains, arthritis, bunions, hammertoes and tailor's bunions, plantar fasciitis and heel pain, flat feet and high arches, toenail fungus and trauma, and Morton's neuroma, along with peripheral neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease. Diabetic foot and ankle care, orthotics, bracing, and diabetic shoes are among the practice's regular services, alongside wound care and podiatric dermatology for skin conditions including skin cancers. Dr. Grillo holds active surgical privileges at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Lee Memorial Hospital, and the office offers same-day and emergency appointments as well as home visits for patients who need them. Most major insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare.
