About Karlos Pena DPM

Dr. Karlos Pena was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and grew up in South Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University in 2016, earning his Bachelor of Science with a major in Biological Sciences, then attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2021. He is a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Dr. Pena completed a three-year Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery residency at Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey, where he served as chief resident, and completed training courses in internal fixation, joint arthroscopy, limb salvage, diabetes wound care, and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Pena is fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and taking long walks with his two dogs.
