Mobile Physician Services brings podiatric care directly into patients' homes across Florida and Ohio, as part of a physician-led team that also provides primary care, psychiatry, optometry, and palliative services for seniors and homebound individuals. The in-home podiatry program focuses on foot pain, wounds, and related lower extremity concerns, with providers reviewing each patient's medical history, examining the feet and lower legs, and treating wounds using various debridement and wound care techniques to support healing. The team also prescribes and fits prosthetic appliances such as diabetic shoe inserts and evaluates patients for bracing when needed, helping manage complications that can accompany chronic disease in elderly patients. Because many patients served are bed-bound or have difficulty traveling, care is coordinated closely with home health agencies and delivered with attention to comfort and safety. Mobile Physician Services is in-network with Medicare, and its house-call model reduces the burden of clinic visits for medically complex, homebound patients.
