Florida Foot & Ankle Center has served South Florida patients from offices in North Miami and Pembroke Pines since Naila Esmail, DPM, entered practice in 2008. Dr. Esmail is joined by board-certified podiatric surgeon Teresa Contreras, DPM, whose focus includes chronic wound care, diabetic pathologies, lower limb revascularization, and limb salvage. Together they treat plantar fasciitis and other heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, and diabetic foot and wound care, offering options that range from conservative therapies to minimally invasive procedures and forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. The practice provides on-site diagnostic ultrasound testing, custom orthotics, and a line of diabetic footwear for patients of all ages. Dr. Contreras also speaks Spanish and takes part in domestic and international medical mission trips. With two convenient South Florida locations, the center emphasizes personalized treatment planning and clear communication throughout every stage of care.
