Dr. Andrew Franklin, DPM, PhD opened Ocala Podiatry in December 2023 after several years as an associate podiatrist in the Ocala, Florida area. Originally from Essex, England, he completed a post-doctorate in organic chemistry at Florida State University before studying podiatric medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now part of Kent State University, and completing his surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic. As a board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Franklin treats ankle instability, calluses, flat feet, and hammertoes, and the practice also provides pediatric and geriatric foot care. He favors a collaborative approach with patients, emphasizing education about foot and ankle conditions so they understand both the cause of their symptoms and the available treatment options. Ocala Podiatry serves patients throughout the Ocala, Florida area from its Southwest 60th Street office.
