Dr. Joan Koewler is originally from Evansville, Indiana and graduated from Indiana State with a BS in Biology and Chemistry, then attended Podiatry School in Chicago, Illinois and completed her Podiatric Residency at Wellborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She has been practicing at Complete & Gentle Foot Care in Sarasota, Florida since 1985, treating people of all ages with a mission to provide whatever treatment is necessary to keep patients active throughout their lives. Dr. Koewler is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the American Podiatry Association and Florida Podiatry Association, and enjoys biking, hiking, scuba diving, and playing and listening to music in her free time.
