Dr. Daniel Howard has practiced foot, ankle, and leg surgery in Sarasota, Florida since 1999, offering regenerative, surgical, and non-surgical treatment options through his practice, Sarasota Foot and Ankle Physicians. He is a board-certified podiatric surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Howard treats complex ankle, foot, and leg conditions, including Achilles tendon injuries, plantar fasciitis, diabetic wounds, trauma, fractures, sprains, bunions, hammertoes, and arthritis. A graduate of Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a Deaconess externship at Harvard Medical School and his residency at Decatur Hospital and the VAMC at Emory University. Before opening his current practice, he advanced from fellow to senior partner at a large local orthopedic group, and he has also served as an adjunct instructor for the Vogler Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction and Trauma.
