Dr. Jerry Lloyd Weed Jr. leads Northeast Florida Foot & Ankle, seeing patients from two offices in St. Augustine, Florida. He brings over 20 years of clinical experience across trauma care, reconstructive surgery, and pediatric podiatric treatment. Before medical school, Dr. Weed worked as a nuclear design engineer for the U.S. Navy, then earned his medical degree with honors from Barry University, along with a concurrent Master of Science in biomedical sciences, and completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Cedars Medical Center in Miami. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, with extensive training in diabetic Charcot deformity reconstruction, athletic injuries, and wound care, including certification in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Weed is on staff at Flagler Hospital and previously served as Chief of Podiatry at Orange Park Medical Center for over a decade.
