Dr. Gary L. Curson, a second-generation podiatrist, has practiced in the Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, and Surfside, Florida area since 1986, describing his practice as a leading source of state-of-the-art foot and ankle treatment in the community. He earned his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, completed a residency in podiatric orthopedics at Guffrie Medical Center, and trained in fellowship under his father. The practice treats Achilles tendinitis, ankle pain and fractures, arthritic foot conditions, bunions, flat feet, fungal toenails, hammertoes, heel pain and spurs, ingrown nails, Morton's neuroma, and plantar warts. Dr. Curson uses a portable digital X-ray system for on-site imaging and offers laser treatment for fungal toenails, MLS laser therapy, soundwave therapy, sports medicine care, custom orthotics, and foot and ankle surgery, along with dermal filler injections for foot pain relief. He also serves as an adjunct professor and clinical faculty member.
