Venice Podiatry, PLLC has been led by Louis S. Giannone, DPM since Dr. Giannone began practicing podiatry in 1996, following his residency at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Wound Management who consults with the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Wound Care Center. The practice treats bunions, flat feet, fractures, toenail fungus, hammertoes, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, tendonitis, and warts, and provides custom orthotics, lower extremity wound care, diabetic and neuropathic foot ulcer management, and sports injury treatment, along with surgeries performed through affiliations at Sarasota Memorial Hospital: Venice and the Surgery Center at St. Andrews. The office speaks Spanish, is a VA-approved provider for veterans, and accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare.
