Bare Foot Care Specialist, led by Jeannette Velazquez, DPM, has served Flowery Branch, Georgia since 2007. Dr. Velazquez earned her podiatric medical degree at Barry University and completed her residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship in podiatric medicine at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in East Northport. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Medical Center, with particular focus on general podiatric medicine, ingrown toenails, children's foot health, and the biomechanics of the foot and ankle. The practice treats Achilles tendonitis, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis, toenail fungus, plantar warts, peripheral neuropathy, and diabetic foot concerns, and it fabricates custom orthotics designed to correct individual foot imbalances.
