Foot and Ankle Reconstruction of Georgia brings together four podiatrists, Andrea D. Cass, Joe Southerland, Joseph R. DiStefano, and Linsey Andrews, across offices in Marietta, Woodstock, and Jasper. Dr. Cass, board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, focuses on pediatric reconstruction and diabetic Charcot reconstruction, while Dr. Southerland, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, provides bilingual care for Spanish-speaking patients. The group treats foot and ankle fractures, ingrown and fungal toenails, sports injuries, Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, bunions, heel pain, flat feet, and reconstructive deformities such as Charcot foot, combining conservative management with foot and ankle surgery, custom orthotics and bracing, and pediatric foot care. Each doctor moved from larger multi-doctor groups to build a smaller, more personalized practice model. Late appointment times are available, and the practice accepts most major insurance plans across its three North Georgia locations.
