Dr. Michael Ferrari, DPM is a native of the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, growing up in Prospect Heights and attending Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked as a medical assistant at First Step Foot Care before pursuing podiatric medicine, then returned to join the practice as a physician. Dr. Ferrari earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center's Department of Orthopedics, Section of Podiatry, serving as chief podiatry resident in his final year. His training covered reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, bunion correction, hammertoe surgeries, fracture care, sports injuries, and diabetic limb salvage.
