Carlos F. Smith, DPM, has practiced foot and ankle medicine and surgery since 1998, now seeing patients through the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute's Beverly location in Chicago while also serving the Lincoln Park and Hyde Park communities. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery, Dr. Smith treats ankle injuries, foot fractures, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, warts, and fungal nails, and rounds out his care with sports injury management, diabetic foot care, and custom orthotic devices. A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, he holds hospital privileges at several Chicago-area hospitals, including Advocate Christ Medical Center and Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. He has also served as president of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the National Podiatric Medical Association, and the Cook County Podiatric Medical Association.
