Crystal Lake Foot & Ankle Center, formerly known as Foot First Podiatry CL, has served the Crystal Lake, Illinois community under Dr. Jeffery Blank and Dr. Paul Potach, both experienced podiatric surgeons. Dr. Blank is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and holds additional certifications in podiatric acupuncture, laser surgery, and extracorporeal shock wave therapy, with particular interest in treating peripheral neuropathy and fitting patients for diabetic shoes and braces. Dr. Potach has practiced podiatry in the Wheeling area for more than 30 years and specializes in laser surgery. Together the practice treats heel pain, foot and ankle fractures, ingrown toenails, sports injuries, toenail fungus, Achilles tendinitis, bunions, and hammertoes, with a particular emphasis on wound care treatment. Laser therapy is available in-office for fungal toenails, offering an alternative to oral and topical medications alone. The practice welcomes questions by phone or email in addition to scheduled visits.
