Dr. Moiz Hassan, DPM practices podiatry at Midwest Medical Center in Galena, Illinois, where he has built a busy surgical practice since joining the hospital in 2022. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he diagnoses and treats the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg, addressing toenail procedures, calluses and corns, and foot deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, and flat feet. His scope also covers heel pain, gout, diabetic foot care and wound management, fractures, ankle sprains, Achilles injuries, tendonitis, and arthritis, using both conservative and minimally invasive surgical techniques including arthroscopy. Dr. Hassan completed his surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as chief resident, following podiatric medical training at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He continues to see patients at the Midwest Medical Center campus in Galena.
