Dr. Julia Shauger is the founder of American Surgeons Group, established in 2002, practicing in the Homewood, Illinois area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Xavier University before completing her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1993. Dr. Shauger specializes in diabetic wound care, vascular insufficiency, lymphedema treatment, and wound and ulcer management, and is board certified through the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Women's Association.
