Advanced Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC has served the metro-east Illinois region since Dr. James Taylor opened the practice in 2009, building on the earlier Affiliated Ankle & Foot Surgeons office he joined in 1998. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Bryan Guignon, both board-certified foot and ankle surgeons, are joined by nurse practitioners Kendra Green, Ashley McIntyre, and C. Elias Czech across the practice's O'Fallon/Swansea and New Baden, Illinois offices. The team treats heel pain, foot pain, plantar warts, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, and bunions, and performs foot and ankle surgery spanning forefoot, rearfoot, ankle, and reconstructive procedures. Diabetic foot care and routine foot care round out the practice's everyday services, and digital X-ray imaging is available on site for same-visit diagnosis. The office accepts most major health insurance plans, including Medicare and Tricare, and describes its approach as comprehensive, addressing conditions from simple foot and toe problems to more complex ankle injuries.
