Dr. Timothy Horak brings nearly three decades of podiatric experience to the South Chicago Heights, Illinois office of American Surgeons Group, part of a team bringing surgical-level expertise to the south suburbs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine and Anthropology from the University of Iowa and completed his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Horak specializes in ankle arthroscopy, endoscopic plantar fasciotomy, and minimally invasive laser procedures, and has received the American Association Orthopedic Podiatrist Clinical Orthopedic Excellence Award. He is fluent in English and Spanish and also practices at the group's Homewood and Mokena locations. His practice treats plantar fasciitis, bunions, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, flat feet, arthritis, and tendonitis, offering diabetic foot care, wound care, custom orthotics, and laser therapy.
