About John Shoudel, DPM - SIU Medicine Orthopedics

Dr. John Shoudel has provided complete foot and ankle care to residents of Central and Southern Illinois since 2010 as part of SIU Medicine Orthopedics in Springfield. An Assistant Professor at SIU School of Medicine, Dr. Shoudel focuses his practice on the adult and adolescent foot and ankle, with particular attention to diabetic foot management, limb salvage procedures, heel pain, foot ulcers and infections, and bunions and foot deformities. He earned his podiatric medical degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and is board certified through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Shoudel maintains hospital privileges at Memorial Health in Springfield and is active in local government and community organizations, including service on the Village of Rochester Board of Trustees.
