Chicago Foot Health Centers treats patients from two Illinois locations, in Chicago and in Tinley Park, led by Dr. Mark Pietz, DPM, board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and formerly on faculty at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. The practice addresses a broad range of conditions, including bunions, hammertoes, corns and calluses, heel pain and plantar fasciitis, pain behind the heel, neuromas, ankle sprains and fractures, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, athlete's foot, and plantar warts, along with children's and geriatric foot concerns. Dr. Pietz also has an interest in sports medicine and pediatric foot problems. Diabetic foot care is a core service, encompassing wound care, ulcer prevention, and management of neuropathy and poor circulation, and the practice provides custom orthotics, physical therapy modalities such as ultrasound, and surgical treatment when conservative care isn't enough. Office hours extend into the evening on select weekdays, with occasional weekend availability at the Chicago location.
