Michael A. Schwartzman, DPM has practiced podiatry for 37 years, seeing patients from offices in West Chicago, Illinois and Whiting, Indiana. Dr. Schwartzman earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, completed a postgraduate residency at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion and Fort Wayne, Indiana, and became board certified in 1990. His practice takes a minimally invasive approach to foot and ankle problems, treating heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, diabetic foot concerns, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, and fungal nails, along with sports medicine injuries and foot and ankle fractures, through a combination of conservative palliative care and surgical solutions when needed. Dr. Schwartzman has built much of his practice on referrals from patients and physicians alike and treats patients of every age, from young children to seniors. The practice accepts a variety of HMOs, PPOs, and other health plans.
