Dr. Richard M. Hilker has practiced podiatry in Fort Wayne, Indiana since founding his private practice there in 1985, specializing in foot surgery. A graduate of Benedictine University and the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed advanced training at the Texas Diabetic Institute, the Podiatry Institute in Decatur, Georgia, and the Ilizarov Training Course for foot and ankle injuries in Kurgan, Russia. Fort Wayne Podiatry treats arthritis, bunions and hammertoes, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, and ingrown toenails, while offering diabetic foot care supported by custom-fit therapeutic shoes, diabetic socks, and custom-made orthoses.
