Dr. Ahmad Elsamad, MS, DPM, FACAS, received his BS in Chemistry Health Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, then completed his MS in Biomedical Sciences and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University, College of Graduate Medical Sciences, in Miami Shores, Florida. After graduating in 2003, he completed three years as a surgical resident at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, and completed a fellowship in Diabetic Limb Salvage at Lecco General Hospital. He practices with The Institute of Foot & Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, with offices in Merrillville and Munster, Indiana, specializing in ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, and rearfoot and forefoot surgery, treating bunions, plantar warts, flat feet, toenail fungus, hammertoes, Achilles problems, plantar fasciitis, and fractures, offering wound care and custom orthotics.
