Portage Foot Clinic has served the South Bend, Indiana community since 1960, when Dr. Damian Dieter's father, Dr. Richard Dieter, first opened the practice; Dr. Damian Dieter joined in 1995 and has continued the family tradition since. The clinic favors the simplest, least invasive treatment appropriate for each patient, addressing conditions such as Achilles tendon pain, ankle sprains, corns and calluses, flat feet, foot and leg ulcers, foot fractures, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, tendonitis, and warts. Both over-the-counter and custom-fabricated orthotic inserts are available, along with regular and extra-depth diabetic shoes molded to each patient's foot. Portage Foot Clinic accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, continuing a family-style approach to foot care that has spanned generations in the South Bend area.
