Dr. Paul Sommer has served the Valparaiso and DeMotte, Indiana communities for more than 25 years through his Family Foot and Ankle Clinic, specializing in podiatric medicine and surgery for patients of all ages and activity levels. A board-certified podiatrist and wound care specialist, Dr. Sommer treats heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, fungal and ingrown toenails, calluses, athlete's foot, tendonitis, flatfoot, fractures, ankle sprains, and plantar warts, offering in-office procedures under local anesthesia as well as more extensive surgeries performed at hospitals or surgery centers. His diabetic foot care includes treatment of calluses and toenail problems, management of ulcerations, and dispensing of diabetic therapeutic shoes.
