Dr. Brian Hunziker is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a native of Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City for his undergraduate bachelor's degree, then Des Moines University for his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed a three-year surgical residency focusing on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa, serving as chief resident during his final year. After residency, he practiced in St. Joseph, Missouri for two years, then in South Des Moines for a year before starting Fusion Foot and Ankle in Waukee and Des Moines, treating bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, and neuromas, offering foot and ankle surgery and diabetic foot care.
