About Michael Arnz, DPM

Dr. Michael Arnz was born in Germany, is bilingual, and was raised in southern Virginia. He completed his undergraduate degree at Hampden-Sydney College before coming to Iowa to receive his doctorate of podiatric medicine in 1997 at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines. He returned to the east coast to complete a three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, followed by an additional year as a fellow in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, during which he also trained in plastic surgery of complex diabetic wounds at Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Arnz, a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery certified in Foot Surgery, moved to Dubuque in 2002, where he is a partner at Dubuque Podiatry.
