About Sean J. McMurray, DPM

Dr. Sean J. McMurray is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who grew up in Tama, Iowa, and has been practicing podiatry in central Iowa for the last 15 years through Newton Foot & Ankle Clinic. He attended Central College in Pella, majoring in Exercise Science, before attending Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. McMurray completed his residency at Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and has served as a board member for the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. McMurray also holds surgical privileges at MercyOne Medical Center in Newton. His practice treats plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, fractures, ankle sprains, arthritis, foot deformities, toenail fungus, neuromas, bunions, and hammertoes.
